Planned Litters

Miyax Dogs occasionally have puppies available to vetted and approved Pet Homes.

Miyax Dogs are hobby breeders. We breed for the continuous betterment of our dogs. That means that all our litters are planned as an improvement in genetic viability, health, longevity, phenotype, temperament and behaviour. We only select parent dogs we are sure will give the best chance of success to improve each generation with a focus on maintaining our high standards in type, health and temperament.

Miyax Dogs are all health tested by the British Veterinary Association (BVA) with results of good standard with a view to continuously improving the health of our line. Parent dogs are tested by a veterinarian prior to breeding, this includes screening for Hip Dysplasia (HD), Elbow Dysplasia (ED), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Pituitary Dwarfism (PD), Hereditary Cataract (HC), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Glaucoma (G), Oculoskeletal-Dysplasia (OSD3) and Multi Drug resistance (MDR1). We also pedigree profile our dogs to avoid any known health concerns and take great care to ensure a low COI.

Names are now being taken for our carefully planned 2022 litters. Once Miyax Dogs have selected the puppy/puppies to move forward with our program, we will have puppies available to approved pet homes. All our puppies are vet checked, regularly de-wormed/flea’d, micro-chipped and have their vaccinations before leaving for their forever homes at a minimum of 10 weeks old. Passports are also available for overseas.

We pride ourselves on a positive behavioural training approach and advocate essential early training to ensure well socialised, happy, healthy puppies. Our puppies are raised using the Puppy Culture Program. This provides socialisation and training throughout the powerful first 12 weeks of a puppies life. Our puppies have nothing but the best start with veterinary care, natural raw diet, socialisation, training and most importantly love as they are raised within our home as part of our family. Our puppies come with a lifetime of breeder support, training guide, on-line support group, annual training/show day, discounted professional training and behavioural advice along with a comprehensive puppy pack containing everything you will need for the first few days with your new puppy.

You are always welcome to come and meet our pack, view our health tests and pedigree certificates. Vetting is strongly encouraged by both parties (purchaser and breeder) and we highly recommend carefully reading the breed information regarding Temperament and Health – available on this website, to ascertain if our breed is suitable for your family and your home.

When reserving a puppy, deposits are taken to secure a place on our waiting list. This deposit is fully refundable if no puppies are produced, however it is non-refundable should you change your mind, so careful consideration should take place.

All Miyax puppies are registered with the World of Lupines Foundation and where appropriate the KC or FCI – Federation Cynologique Internationale.
